Administrator-level JavaScript execution via stored XSS
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Oct 16, 2024
Stored XSS in F5 BIG-IQ 8.0 through 8.2.0 allows remote authenticated users with the Administrator role to run JavaScript. An undisclosed Configuration utility page stores attacker-controlled input without neutralizing script-related HTML tags. Administrator privileges are required to plant the payload, and execution occurs when a logged-in user loads the affected page, exposing that user's session context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
