Key disclosure via predictable broadcast passwords

Weak password generation in goTenna Pro App 1.61 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to recover broadcast encryption keys over RF. The optional encryption-key broadcast workflow uses a noncryptographic random function instead of SecureRandom to generate the password protecting a transmitted key. An attacker must capture the RF broadcast and brute-force its password; recovery of the shared key exposes communications protected with that key.
