CVE-2024-47109Network attack vector

Unauthenticated server path disclosure via unspecified UI behavior

Published Mar 10, 2025 · Updated Sep 1, 2025

Path disclosure in IBM Sterling File Gateway 6.0.0.0 through 6.1.2.6 and 6.2.0.0 through 6.2.0.3 allows remote attackers to read the installation path. IBM identifies only the UI as the locus and has not published the request, response, or wrong operation that exposes the path. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the disclosed path supplies host-layout information that can aid further attacks without directly altering data or service availability.
