CVE-2024-47094

Site-secret disclosure via unredacted automation logs

Published Nov 29, 2024 · Updated Sep 11, 2025

Sensitive-data logging in Checkmk before 2.3.0p22, 2.2.0p37, and 2.1.0p50 allows local users to read remote site secrets. When Automation-call logging is set to Informational, the logging path writes the site secret into web logs instead of redacting it. Exploitation requires local site-user access and the affected log-level setting; the reported consequence is disclosure of the remote site secret.
