Published May 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Fluent Forms 5.1.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through an email subject. EmailNotification accepts the subject parameter without sufficient sanitization and later renders the stored value without output escaping. Contributor-level access plus administrator-granted form access is required; the script runs when another user opens the affected page.
