Remote code execution via unfiltered JDBC parameters
Published Oct 11, 2024 · Updated Oct 11, 2024
Deserialization in DataEase before 1.18.25 allows remote attackers to execute system commands through a crafted PostgreSQL JDBC URL. PgConfiguration.getJdbc concatenates attacker-controlled extraParams into the connection URL without rejecting dangerous PostgreSQL driver properties. Exploitation directs the server to an attacker-controlled PostgreSQL endpoint, allowing code execution with DataEase server privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
