Session-token theft via unescaped XML link
Published Sep 30, 2024 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Reflected XSS in AList before 3.29.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser through a crafted /i/:link_name URL. The Plist handler places the user-controlled link URL into an application/xml response without neutralizing angle brackets, allowing XHTML tags to be interpreted. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted link; script execution can expose the user's JWT and permit file reads, writes, or deletion within that account's access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
