CVE-2024-47058Network attack vector

Session data theft via unsanitized form attributes

Published Sep 18, 2024 · Updated Sep 19, 2024

Stored XSS in Mautic 1.0.0 through 4.4.12 and 5.0.0 through 5.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to steal session data. Form editors can save event-handler or javascript attributes in a free HTML field's container attributes because the template parses and renders them without neutralization. A user with form-edit access must plant the payload and another user must view the affected form, where the script runs in that viewer's session.
