Unauthorized segment cloning via missing permission check
Published May 28, 2025 · Updated May 29, 2025
Missing authorization in Mautic 5.0.1 through 5.2.5 and 6.0.0 through 6.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to clone segments. ListController.php's cloneAction processes a segment-cloning request without checking whether the requesting account has segment-creation permission. Any authenticated account can duplicate segments it is not authorized to create, causing unauthorized changes to segment configuration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
