CVE-2024-47044Network attack vector

WAN settings-page access via undisclosed restriction failure

Published Sep 26, 2024 · Updated Oct 17, 2024

Access-control failure in NTT East Hikari Denwa routers allows remote attackers to reach Device Setting pages through WAN-side IPv6 addresses. NTT East has not disclosed the specific access-control operation that improperly exposes the management interface. Remote attackers must identify the router's WAN-side IPv6 address; changing settings additionally requires logging in, and no attacks were confirmed.
