Local privilege escalation via unchecked flow-ring index

Out-of-bounds write in Android's DHD kernel driver allows local users to escalate privileges without user interaction. The dhd_prot_flowrings_pool_release function in dhd_msgbuf.c uses a flow-ring identifier to index the pool without first checking that it falls within the pool bounds. A local user who reaches this driver path can write beyond the flow-ring pool and obtain elevated privileges; Google has not published the triggering input sequence.
