Authentication bypass via path traversal
Published Oct 8, 2024 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
Path traversal in Ivanti Avalanche before 6.4.5 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication through crafted request paths. Ivanti identifies improper pathname restriction and an alternate path or channel as the cause, but has not disclosed the affected endpoint or path-normalization operation. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful requests can cross an authentication boundary, while the vendor has not specified which protected functions or data become reachable.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
