CVE-2024-47007Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated service crash via malformed MuProperty

Published Oct 8, 2024 · Updated Oct 8, 2024

NULL pointer dereference in WLAvalancheService.exe before 6.4.5 allows remote attackers to crash the service through TCP port 1777. ParseToken loops after an all-space MuProperty type 101 returns a null next-token pointer, then passes that pointer back for parsing and triggers a read access violation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation interrupts the mobile device server without affecting data confidentiality or integrity.
