Authenticated command execution via deserialized SQL parameter
Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Deserialization in /importhtml.php in D-Link DAR-8000-10 20230922 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via sql. The handler decodes the sql argument and executes the resulting SQL, so a crafted SELECT INTO OUTFILE statement writes a PHP command shell under the web root. Low-privilege web-interface access is sufficient to create the shell and run commands with the web service's server privileges.
