CVE-2024-46988Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Restricted artifact disclosure via unchecked notification permissions

Published Oct 14, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2024

Improper authorization in Tuleap allows remote authenticated users to receive restricted artifact data through tracker email notifications. Artifact-level permissions are not correctly verified when an update includes a follow-up comment, so notification assembly exceeds the recipient's artifact access. In affected Community and Enterprise releases, a recipient using Notify on all updates receives a full artifact snapshot belonging to another user.
