Cache poisoning via fallback revalidation value

Cache poisoning in Vercel Next.js 13.5.1 through 13.5.6 and 14.0.0 through 14.2.9 allows remote attackers to cache unintended responses. Server render-result handling substitutes a one-second revalidation value when rendering returns none, causing crafted request metadata to emit a cacheable directive for a route that should remain uncached. Exposure requires a self-hosted Pages Router deployment with a non-dynamic server-side rendered route; App Router-only and Vercel deployments are unaffected.
