Live feed disclosure via hard-coded root password
Published Sep 18, 2024 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in Runofast CloudCam Firmware 57.0.0.1 allow remote attackers to access the camera's video and audio stream. The RTSP service accepts the fixed root password "password" for /stream1 instead of requiring a device-specific, changeable credential. An attacker able to reach TCP port 554 can retrieve the live feed without prior access, exposing video and audio but no reported camera control.
