Improper permissions in Nextcloud Desktop Client 3.13.1 through 3.13.3 on Linux allow physically proximate attackers to read or modify synced folders. The sync engine maps FileSystem::FolderPermissions::ReadWrite to group_write and others_write instead of restricting write access to the owner. A victim must synchronize a new or changed folder; another account with access to the Linux host can then inspect synchronized content or alter files in the exposed folder.
