Denial of service in Rocket.Chat 6.12.0 and earlier release lines allows remote attackers to crash a workspace with crafted messages. The PEG message grammar repeatedly explores nested emphasis and reference rules for long, symbol-heavy input, causing excessive parser work and an infinite loop. No authentication or user interaction is required; the reported consequence is server availability loss, not data disclosure or modification.
