Secret extraction and SSRF via external entities
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Oct 16, 2024
XXE in OpenText Application Automation Tools Plugin 24.1.0 and earlier allows attackers to extract Jenkins secrets or trigger SSRF. Its XML parsers accept external entity declarations in attacker-controlled build-step and post-build-step input files. Attackers must control those files; parsing can read controller secrets or make server-side requests.
