Cross-site scripting via unneutralized exam parameter
Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in CampCodes Complete Web-Based School Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script via the exam parameter. The /view/exam_timetable.php handler processes the exam request value without neutralizing executable markup before including it in web output. Exploitation requires a user to load the crafted response; the script then runs in the application's browser origin and can read or alter accessible session data.
