Local service interruption via mailbox use-after-free

Use-after-free in the Linux kernel 6.2 through 6.10.9 allows local users to interrupt service through an lpfc mailbox timeout. lpfc_get_sfp_info frees a submitted mailbox command after MBX_TIMEOUT, so a delayed firmware completion dereferences the freed region. The flaw requires the lpfc Fibre Channel driver and a late firmware response; the resulting kernel-memory access can crash the system.
