Kernel crash via shared-descriptor btrfs race

Race condition in Linux btrfs in affected kernels allows local users to crash the system through concurrent direct writes and fsync. btrfs_direct_write stores an on-stack private structure on the shared file, letting btrfs_sync_file read it after return or skip the inode lock. An unprivileged local user needs write access to a file on a mounted btrfs filesystem and two threads sharing one O_DIRECT descriptor; the observed consequence is a kernel panic.
