Kernel crash via post-removal power-save work

A race in Linux kernel btnxpuart allows local users to crash the kernel by repeatedly loading and removing the driver. btnxpuart_close() calls ps_wakeup(), which schedules psdata->work after the module has been removed instead of canceling pending power-save work before teardown. Reaching the fault requires local authority to reset the Bluetooth interface and load or unload the module; the resulting kernel crash interrupts the host.
