GUI denial of service via endpoint resource exhaustion
Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
Resource exhaustion in Fortinet FortiOS allows remote attackers to prevent GUI access through crafted requests to specific endpoints. Fortinet identifies unbounded resource allocation at those endpoints but has not disclosed their paths or the resource-consuming operation. Affected releases are 6.4.0 through 6.4.15, 7.0.0 through 7.0.16, 7.2.0 through 7.2.10, 7.4.0 through 7.4.4, and 7.6.0; no authentication is required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
