Subscriber-level booking cancellation via unchecked booking ID
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025
Authorization bypass in Metagauss EventPrime before 3.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to cancel other users' bookings. The ep_booking_update_status AJAX action accepts attacker-controlled booking_id and status values without verifying booking ownership or a nonce. Subscriber-level access and an event with bookings enabled are required; exploitation can alter or cancel another account's booking.
