Unauthenticated file disclosure via scan_folder traversal
Published Sep 20, 2024 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Path traversal in eNMS 4.4.0 through 4.7.0 allows remote attackers to read server files through the scan_folder endpoint. The endpoint interprets attacker-controlled greater-than-delimited path input as a folder to scan and returns content outside the intended files directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposure is limited to confidentiality with no reported file modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
