Arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Sep 20, 2024 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Path traversal in eNMS 4.4.0 through 4.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary host files through edit_file. The /edit_file/>[DIR]>[FILE] route converts attacker-controlled path segments into a filesystem target without confining access to the intended directory. A logged-in account is required, and an administrative session can disclose files readable by the server process, including privileged system files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
