Improper access control in becon GmbH DataGerry 2.2 allows remote attackers to read or alter user settings through REST requests. The user-settings handlers process unauthenticated GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE requests without verifying identity or authorization for the specified user. No credentials are required; published testing substantiates settings disclosure and modification, not the arbitrary command execution claimed by the CVE record.
