Improper authorization in InfoDom Performa 365 4.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to elevate their accounts to Administrator. The /api/users endpoint accepts attacker-controlled roles and applicationRoleIds in a low-privileged user's update request without enforcing authorization for role changes. A valid low-privileged JWT is required, and success grants access to administrative functions.
