Authentication bypass via hardcoded JWT signing key
Published Sep 24, 2024 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Authentication bypass in IceCMS 3.4.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to forge administrator JWTs with a published signing key. JwtUtil.java embeds a fixed HS256 key, and token validation trusts signatures made with that same recoverable key. No credentials or user interaction are required; forged administrator claims grant access to protected CMS functions.
