Service interruption via unchecked formFilter URL copy
Published Apr 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in NEXTU FLETA AX1500 WIFI6 Router 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted POST request. The formFilter handler passes the unbounded url parameter to strcpy, which copies it into a fixed seven-byte stack buffer and can overwrite the return address. The request is reachable when the router is factory-reset or after authentication and reliably interrupts service; code execution remains unverified.
