Incorrect default permissions in Apache Tomcat Connectors 1.2.9-beta through 1.2.49 allow local users to read or alter mod_jk shared memory. The non-Windows do_shm_open path creates the JkShmFile mapping and its lock files with mode 0666, exposing configuration and status data. Only Unix-like mod_jk deployments are affected; local access permits information disclosure or a service interruption by corrupting runtime state.
