Arbitrary SQL execution via unsanitized getTable parameter
Published Dec 30, 2024 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
SQL injection in Veritas Data Insight 6.3 through 7.1 allows remote authenticated users to read, alter, or delete back-end data. The /data endpoint inserts the getTable parameter into an SQLite query without neutralizing crafted SQL syntax. An Application Administrator role with database-browsing access in the web console is required, and arbitrary commands can create, read, update, or delete database records.
