Unauthenticated login bypass via SQL injection
Published Sep 27, 2024 · Updated Sep 27, 2024
SQL injection in CodeAstro Membership Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass login and execute arbitrary SQL via email. The login handler inserts the email value into an SQL query without parameterization, so quote and comment syntax changes its predicate. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted login request can expose database contents, enter the admin dashboard, and, with database file privileges, yield server code execution.
