Information disclosure via unrestricted data-source requests
Published Oct 11, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
SSRF in JPress 5.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to disclose sensitive data by supplying a dynamic data-source address. The administrative FormDatasourceController passes that saved address through proxy.start to doSendRequest without restricting the destination. Backend access and creation of a dynamic data source are required; invoking queryOptions makes the server request the chosen address and can expose reachable internal information.
