SSRF via case-mismatched URL scheme validation
Published Aug 25, 2025 · Updated Aug 25, 2025
SSRF in Rebuild 3.7.7 allows attackers to make the server request an attacker-selected HTTPS endpoint through the type parameter. RBStoreController.loadDataIndex accepts a mixed-case httpS URL that evades isExternalUrl but remains fetchable through RBStore.fetchRemoteJson and OkHttp. The demonstrated request also requires the authentication-bypass path and a nonempty servlet context path; the bounded result is a server-originated outbound request.
