Privilege escalation via stored username script injection
Published Sep 27, 2024 · Updated Sep 27, 2024
Stored XSS in Webkul Software Krayin CRM 1.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted username. The application stores the submitted username without neutralizing script markup and later renders it so the payload executes in another user's browser. Execution requires another user to view the stored username; the script runs with that user's CRM permissions and can grant elevated access.
