Directory creation via missing CSRF validation
Published Sep 17, 2024 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Frog CMS 0.9.5 allows remote attackers to create directories through an authenticated user's browser. The file manager's create_directory action accepts POSTed path and name values and calls mkdir without validating an anti-CSRF token. An administrator, developer, or editor must be logged in and induced to submit the crafted request, which creates a directory under the configured files root.
