CVE-2024-46327Public exploit

Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked relative paths

Published Sep 26, 2024 · Updated Sep 26, 2024

Path traversal in VONETS VAP11G-300 Firmware 3.3.23.6.9 allows remote attackers to read device files through crafted HTTP GET paths. Http_handle passes paths containing ../ to Is_File_Exist, whose native C stat call accepts traversal outside /etc_ro/web/ without extension or path classification checks. Access to the device's adjacent network is sufficient and no authentication is required, exposing arbitrary firmware files without reported write access.
