Underpayment via fractional product quantity
Published Oct 9, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Improper workflow enforcement in Nanjing Xingyuantu Technology SparkShop 1.16 and earlier allows attackers to underpay for goods. The createOrder endpoint accepts a fractional goods[0][num] value, charges for that fraction, and later rounds the fulfilled quantity to one. A crafted POST request can therefore purchase one item for half price; the public demonstration uses num=0.5 and balance payment.
