Stored script execution via unsanitized member fields
Published Oct 21, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in CodeAstro Membership Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via member fields. The add and edit member handlers accept fullname and address values without effective sanitization, store them, and render them in manage_members.php, where the browser executes injected script. An account able to add or edit members is required, and another user must view the affected member; script execution can expose or alter data in that viewer's session.
