CVE-2024-4622Network attack vector

Administrator access via unchanged default credentials

Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

Use of default credentials in all versions of Alpitronic Hypercharger allows remote attackers to obtain administrator access through its web interface. The authentication layer accepts a publicly known factory credential when an operator leaves that credential unchanged and exposes the management interface. Exploitation requires network reachability to the normally nonpublic interface and the unchanged password; successful access grants administrator control of the charger.
