Browser script execution via unescaped Custom CSS
Published Jun 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in Repute InfoSystems ARForms before 6.6 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to run script in browsers. The Custom CSS setting accepts closing style tags and script markup without sanitizing the input or escaping it when the form editor reloads. Administrator access is required, and exploitation remains possible when WordPress disallows unfiltered_html, such as on multisite installations.
