Browser script execution via stored contact name
Published Sep 26, 2024 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Stored XSS in Varun Sardana Blood Bank and Donation Management System 1.0 allows attackers to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. update_contact.php stores the name parameter as contact information, and contact_us.php echoes the saved value into HTML without output encoding. A payload must be saved through the admin-side update form; it then runs whenever a user visits the public contact page, within that visitor's browser context.
