Stored XSS via unencoded donor name output
Published Sep 26, 2024 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Stored XSS in Blood Bank and Donation Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript when an administrator views the donor list. save_donor_data.php copies the fullname POST value into donor_details, and donor_list.php echoes donor_name into HTML without output encoding. Direct POST access to the save endpoint requires no session, but execution occurs only when an authenticated administrator opens the donor list.
