Database version disclosure via unsanitized search filters
Published Jul 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
SQL injection in Rocket Software Rocket Zena 4.4.1.26 allows remote authenticated users to read database version data through crafted filters. The logs, events, and alerts search endpoints pass the filter value into database query handling without sufficient sanitization, allowing SQL syntax to alter the query. A standard authenticated account is required; the demonstrated payload returns the database banner, with no public evidence of access to other records or command execution.
