CVE-2024-45933Public exploit

Stored XSS via unneutralized post fields

Published Oct 7, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Stored XSS in Online News Portal 1.0 allows attackers with content-editing access to execute script through post title and summary fields. The /admin/post/edit/ endpoint stores HTML from the Title and summary fields without neutralizing executable markup, which runs when the post page is viewed. Low-privilege content-editing access is required, and a later viewer, including an administrator, triggers the payload in the viewer's browser.
