Stored script execution via unsanitized Intrest field
Published Sep 30, 2024 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Stored XSS in Solvait 24.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser through the Intrest field. The /Accountlogin/update_intrest endpoint stores the unneutralized intrest parameter, and the profile page later renders it as active content. A low-privileged account can plant the payload, but another user must load the affected profile content before the script can access or alter data available to that browser session.
