Authenticated command execution via wireless-profile deletion action
Published Nov 4, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2024
OS command injection in DrayTek Vigor3900 Firmware 1.5.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the management CGI. When action selects delete_wlan_profile, cgi-bin/mainfunction.cgi fails to neutralize command syntax before invoking an OS command. Reachability requires adjacent-network access and a low-privilege authenticated session; successful requests execute attacker-chosen commands on the router.
